I think the defending heros should have some sort of quest where they have to kill a certain number of type of orc, all heros could have different units they have to kill, and all that fancy stuff

Awards vary dependant on hero as well?

The storyline? Needs work.
The killing quest is a good idea, and having an equivalent for the humans is great as well.
